Sul Ross Ultimate

Sul Ross Ultimate is a sport club at Sul Ross State University dedicated to representing the university through intercollegiate Ultimate competition and promoting the sport of Ultimate within the university and the surrounding Big Bend community.

Sul Ross Ultimate is comprised of male and female student-athletes who compete in the USA Ultimate Men's and Women's Divisions. The club provides students with opportunities to develop their athletic skills, leadership abilities, teamwork, sportsmanship, and sense of community while representing Sul Ross State University in intercollegiate competition.

In addition to competitive play, Sul Ross Ultimate seeks to enhance campus life by providing opportunities for students to participate in the sport regardless of their prior experience or skill level. The club promotes an inclusive, welcoming, and team-oriented environment that encourages students to build relationships and develop a lasting connection to the university.

Sul Ross Ultimate also seeks to strengthen the relationship between Sul Ross State University and the surrounding Big Bend community by sponsoring community Ultimate activities, including pickup games and other recreational opportunities. Through these activities, the club promotes physical activity, fellowship, and the sport of Ultimate while providing opportunities for members of the university and local communities to participate together.

Through competition, recreation, service, and community engagement, Sul Ross Ultimate strives to be a positive representative of Sul Ross State University and to contribute to a vibrant campus and Big Bend community.
